Frostprotection for pipes
This range has been specially developed to keep (water) pipework, stopcocks, waste pipes and similar safe from freezing. Problems caused by freezing can easily be prevented by using an Frostfree ribbon cable, ready to install and with automatic thermostat function. Ready to connect frostfree ribbon cable with bimetal limiter. The Frostfree ribbon cable is powered up at temperatures below +5°C and switches off automatically if the pipeline temperature rises above +5°C.
The Frostfree ribbon cable is available in lengths from 1 to 48 meters and is ready to use with a 2-meter power cable and an earthed plug. With the thermostat in operation it consumes just 10 watts per linear meter. The frostfree ribbon is extremely easy to fit to pipe work using aluminium tape or plastic quick fasteners (Ty-raps).
